Rolf Smedvig is one of the world's great trumpeters, a dazzling virtuoso acknowledged as a soloist and chamber musician of international renown. Mr. Smedvig has performed worldwide with many of the great orchestras and is a frequent guest soloist with the major festivals throughout the country. His Telarc recording of virtuoso trumpet concertos with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra earned him a Grammy nomination.
