Madeleine Tan has eleven years of experience in the finance and legal industry, and serves as Controller and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Vantage Artists. Madeleine oversees Vantage Artists strategic financial controls and merger and acquisition strategy. Madeleine has structured, advised on and closed structured finance transactions involving cross-border financial and tax arbitrage, complex derivatives and debt and equity placements in US, Europe, Asia and Australia totaling more than US $13 billion in value. Madeleine was a corporate partner at the law firm of Hunton & Williams LLP, specializing in both domestic and cross-border structured finance transactions. Before joining Hunton & Williams, Madeleine worked at Bankers Trust Company, specializing in capital markets and derivatives transactions. As principal and founder of Vantis Strategies LLC, Madeleine also focuses on sourcing and advising on structured finance transactions for opportunistic acquisitions by hedge funds and private equity funds. In addition to her financial and legal background, Madeleine loves opera and classical music, and enjoys cooking.
