Laura Dunaway has worked in many facets of the music industry including artist management, public relations, education and performance. At ICM Artists, Ltd., Laura worked with a roster of high-profile artists including Leon Fleisher, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Tokyo String Quartet, Emmanuel Pahud, Les Arts Florissants, and others. Laura also was Director of Workplace Programs at Business Committee for the Arts, Inc., an organization to promote business support of the arts founded by David Rockefeller. Her experience in the music industry also includes the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
Laura graduated from The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University with a master’s degree in percussion performance, and earned her bachelor’s degree in percussion performance from University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Laura began playing percussion because she enjoyed the cutting-edge innovation of the instrument. Her other interests include cooking and poker.
